2N IP Verso Touch Keypad, Bluetooth and Secured RFID Reader

The 2N IP Verso Touch Keypad, Bluetooth and Secured RFID Reader combines PIN, phone and card entry in one module. 2N describes it as the backup-PIN, mobile and card option in one slot: the capacitive keypad can be used alone or as the second factor, Bluetooth handles smartphone credentials, and the RFID reader takes 125 kHz cards plus secured 13.56 MHz formats, including 2N PICard.

Three Credentials, One Module Slot

Mobile access, a PIN keypad and a card reader normally need separate parts. Here they share a single module position, which leaves room in the frame for a display, buttons or other modules. The PIN pad also works as the second factor on doors that require two checks.

Reader Details

The secured reader adds MIFARE DESFire, HID SE Seos, iClass and MIFARE SE on top of the standard formats, and reads PACS IDs from HID iClass cards with an SIO object. Bluetooth range is typically about 3 m in short mode and 10 m in long mode, but 2N notes that this varies by phone model and installation.
