AXIS Q1798-LE Bullet Camera – 10 MP / 4K with 4/3″ Sensor and Canon 12–48 mm Lens

The AXIS Q1798-LE is a discontinued outdoor bullet camera with an ultra-light-sensitive 4/3-inch sensor that captures 4K and 10 MP video through a Canon 12–48 mm lens. Lightfinder 2.0, Forensic WDR and OptimizedIR up to 100 m (328 ft) in full tele keep color and detail in near darkness, and AXIS Object Analytics runs on the camera. The 4/3-inch back-illuminated sensor captures 3712x2784 (10 MP) at up to 20 fps or 3840x2160 (4K) at up to 25/30 fps, with color down to 0.03 lux at 50 IRE. Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR (up to 120 dB) keep true color and forensic detail.

Wide Coverage with a Canon Lens

The Canon 12–48 mm, F1.7–4.0 lens offers 4x optical zoom from 90° to 21° horizontally in 4K, with zoom-triggered autofocus. Pixel density reaches 1036 px/m at 10 m (32 ft) and 207 px/m at 50 m (164 ft).

Day and Night with OptimizedIR

An 800–900 nm band-pass night filter works with OptimizedIR, whose 850 nm LEDs reach more than 50 m (164 ft) in wide view and 100 m (328 ft) in full tele, for 0 lux operation.

Analytics and Security
