The AXIS P1468-LE is an ARTPEC-8 outdoor bullet camera that delivers 4K (3840x2160) video from a large 1/1.2” sensor, with a 6.2–12.9 mm varifocal lens and OptimizedIR up to 40 m (131 ft). A deep learning processing unit runs AXIS Object Analytics to detect and classify humans, vehicles and vehicle types, while Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR keep detail in any light. The IP66/IP67, NEMA 4X and IK10-rated camera withstands winds up to 50 m/s and suits large parking lots, perimeters and loading docks.

Clear Video Day and Night

An automatically removable infrared-cut filter switches between color and black-and-white. With WDR and Lightfinder, minimum illumination is 0.07 lux in color and 0.01 lux in black and white (50 IRE, F1.6), and 0 lux with IR on. OptimizedIR lights the scene to 40 m (131 ft) or more depending on the scene, and motion-adaptive exposure reduces blur from moving objects.

4K Detail Across Wide Areas

The 6.2–12.9 mm lens covers 108° to 49° horizontally and 58° to 27° vertically, and 4K resolution leaves room to zoom into recordings of large lots and campuses. Scene profiles (forensic, vivid, traffic overview), defogging, barrel distortion correction, polygon privacy masks and up to 8 cropped view areas help tune each view.

AI Analytics with Deep Learning

A deep learning processing unit (DLPU) on the ARTPEC-8 chip runs AXIS Object Analytics, which detects and classifies humans and vehicles (cars, buses, trucks, bikes) with line crossing, object in area and occupancy scenarios (up to 10). AXIS Live Privacy Shield, AXIS Scene Metadata, AXIS Image Health Analytics, AXIS Video Motion Detection, active tampering, shock and audio detection are included, and AXIS Perimeter Defender and AXIS License Plate Verifier are supported.

Built-In Cybersecurity

Axis Edge Vault provides a secure element (CC EAL 6+), system-on-chip security (TEE), Axis device ID, signed video, secure boot and an encrypted filesystem, and the Axis Cryptographic Module is FIPS 140-2 level 1 validated. IEEE 802.1X, IEEE 802.1AE (MACsec), IEEE 802.1AR and HTTPS/HSTS protect the network connection, and ONVIF Profile G, M, S and T support AXIS Camera Station and partner VMS platforms.

Simple Installation

The mounting bracket, Torx L-keys and AXIS Weather Shield L are included, and a pixel counter, remote zoom, remote focus and auto rotation help aim the camera from a computer.
