AXIS P1448-LE 4K Outdoor Bullet Camera with OptimizedIR
The AXIS P1448-LE is an all-around outdoor bullet camera that records 4K Ultra HD (3840x2160) video at full frame rate, with a 2.8–9.8 mm F1.6 varifocal lens and OptimizedIR up to 25 m (82 ft). Lightfinder and Forensic WDR capture forensic detail in low light and strong backlight, remote zoom and focus speed up installation, and Axis Zipstream lowers bandwidth and storage for H.264 video. With an IP66/IP67, NEMA 4X and IK10-rated casing, shock detection, audio input and I/O, it suits large parking lots, perimeters and loading docks.

Clear Video Day and Night
An automatically removable infrared-cut filter switches between color and black-and-white. Minimum illumination is 0.18 lux in color and 0.04 lux in black and white (50 IRE, F1.6), and 0 lux with IR on. OptimizedIR uses power-efficient, long-life 850 nm LEDs to light the scene to 25 m (82 ft) or more depending on the scene.
4K Detail Across Wide Areas
The 2.8–9.8 mm lens covers 109° to 37° horizontally and 57° to 21° vertically, and 4K resolution keeps enough pixels to zoom into recordings of large lots and campuses. Up to 8 individually cropped view areas can be streamed, with digital PTZ and Corridor Format for tall, narrow scenes.
Built-In Analytics
AXIS Motion Guard, AXIS Fence Guard, AXIS Loitering Guard and AXIS Video Motion Detection are included, and AXIS Digital Autotracking, AXIS Perimeter Defender and AXIS Cross Line Detection are supported. Detectors cover video motion, audio, shock and tampering, and AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP) allows third-party applications.
Network Security and Integration
Signed OS, brute force delay protection, IEEE 802.1X and IEEE 802.1AE (MACsec), HTTPS/HSTS, TLS 1.2/1.3 and SD card encryption help protect the camera and its recordings. ONVIF Profile G, M, S and T and the VAPIX open API support AXIS Camera Station and partner VMS platforms.
Simple Installation
The mounting bracket is included, and a pixel counter, remote zoom, remote focus and auto rotation let installers aim the camera from a computer. One network cable carries video and PoE (Class 3, typical 7.1 W, max 12.95 W), and the casing is rated for -40 °C to 60 °C (-40 °F to 140 °F).
