Why Choose the AXIS Q1805-LE?

  • 32x optical zoom (4.3–137 mm) for long-distance detail
  • 1080p at up to 90 fps without WDR
  • OptimizedIR reaching 100 m (328 ft) or more in darkness
  • Electronic image stabilization for poles that sway
  • PoE out to power a second device (requires a 60 W 802.3bt midspan)
  • AXIS Object Analytics and AXIS Live Privacy Shield on ARTPEC-8
  • Axis Edge Vault with TPM 2.0 (FIPS 140-2 Level 2)
  • IP66/IP67, NEMA 4X, IK10 body; 60 m/s wind load

32x Zoom for Long Distances

The 4.3–137 mm F1.4–4.0 lens zooms from a 60° wide view to 2.3°, with remote zoom and focus, P-Iris control and a 62 mm filter thread. One camera can watch a whole yard at the wide end and pick out a person or plate far down a road at full zoom, with digital PTZ, preset positions and guard tours of up to 100 presets.

Steady, Clear Images Day and Night

Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR (up to 120 dB) give realistic color and detail in mixed light, reaching 0.06 lux in color at 50 IRE, F1.4. OptimizedIR with 850 nm LEDs covers 100 m (328 ft) or more in complete darkness, and electronic image stabilization keeps footage steady when wind or traffic shakes the mount.

Deep Learning Analytics

ARTPEC-8 with a deep learning processing unit runs AXIS Object Analytics to detect and classify humans and vehicle types, AXIS Scene Metadata for fast forensic search, AXIS Image Health Analytics and AXIS Live Privacy Shield. AXIS License Plate Verifier, AXIS Perimeter Defender and AXIS Speed Monitor are supported.

Cost-Effective, Secure Installation

IDC network connectors and a spacious back box simplify cabling, and PoE out (IEEE 802.3at Class 4, 30 W) can power an extra device when the camera is fed by a 60 W IEEE 802.3bt Class 6 midspan. Axis Edge Vault with TPM 2.0, a secure element, signed video and secure boot protects the device, and the aluminum casing is IP66/IP67, NEMA 4X and IK10 rated for -40 °C to 60 °C.

Typical Applications

  • Long perimeters and fence lines
  • Highways, roads and bridges
  • Large parking lots and logistics yards
  • Ports, rail yards and critical infrastructure
