AXIS Q1809-LE Bullet Camera – 41MP / 8K Outdoor Bullet with 12–24 mm Canon Lens

The AXIS Q1809-LE is a 41MP / 8K outdoor bullet camera with a 4/3″ sensor and a 12–24 mm Canon lens for very wide, open areas. Built on a dual ARTPEC-8 system-on-chip, it delivers 41 MP at 15 fps or 8K at up to 30 fps, with electronic image stabilization and OptimizedIR plus a white LED combo reaching 60 m (197 ft) or more. The IP66/IP67, NEMA 4X and IK10-rated aluminum housing comes ready to install with a mounting arm and back box.

One Camera for a Very Wide Area

The 12–24 mm Canon lens covers a 90°–44° horizontal field of view in 8K, and the 41 MP sensor lets operators zoom digitally into large scenes while keeping detail. OptimizedIR with 850 nm LEDs and a white LED combo reaches 60 m (197 ft) or more, and the white light can be switched on to deter unwanted activity.

Stable, Efficient 8K Video

Electronic image stabilization smooths out vibration from wind or crowds, and Axis Zipstream in H.264 and H.265 lowers bandwidth and storage. Up to 20 configurable streams and up to 8 cropped view areas let one camera feed several operator views.

Built-In Cybersecurity

Axis Edge Vault includes a secure element certified to CC EAL 6+ and FIPS 140-3 Level 3, Axis device ID, signed video, signed OS, secure boot and an encrypted filesystem. Network security includes IEEE 802.1X, IEEE 802.1AE (MACsec), HTTPS/HSTS and TLS 1.2/1.3.

Out-of-the-Box Installation

A mounting arm and spacious back box come with the camera, and remote zoom and focus, a level grid and leveling assistant speed up setup. Power it by PoE (Class 4 or Class 6), 10–28 V DC or 20–24 V AC; with a 60 W midspan it operates down to -40 °C and its PoE output supplies 30 W to a second device. Analytics included: AXIS Video Motion Detection, active tampering alarm and audio detection, with support for ACAP applications.
