AXIS Fixed Box IR Illuminator Kit A for Outdoor Box Cameras
The AXIS Fixed Box IR Illuminator Kit A is an optional IR kit that mounts on the bottom of selected outdoor Axis box cameras for surveillance in darkness. It uses power-efficient, long-life 850 nm IR LEDs with a 120° angle and a range of 50 m (164 ft) or more, depending on the scene. The aluminum and polycarbonate kit is IP66/IP67 and IK10 rated, and it is powered by the host camera.

Installation Notes
- The kit fits on the bottom of the camera and is powered by it, so no separate power supply is needed for the kit itself.
- Axis product data says the host camera needs Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af/802.3at Type 1 Class 4) when it drives the kit, so use a suitable midspan or PoE switch.
- Axis lists the kit for P13, P15, Q16 and Q17 series box cameras and for the TQ1815-E and TQ1819-E housings.
