The AXIS P1518-E is an outdoor-ready dual-sensor box camera that delivers an 8 MP wide-angle view and a 2 MP close-up of the same scene from one camera. Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR keep detail and color in difficult light, AXIS Object Analytics runs on the built-in deep learning processing unit, and Axis Edge Vault protects the device. Two Views From One Camera

The 8 MP sensor behind the 5.9–13.8 mm lens streams up to 3840x2160 for the wide overview, while the 2 MP sensor behind the 10.9–29 mm lens streams 1920x1080 at up to 50/60 fps (without WDR) for close-ups without motion blur. The tele view adds remote pan and tilt of ±15° for fine aiming, and AXIS License Plate Verifier is supported on the 29 mm lens.

Clear Images in Challenging Light

Forensic WDR (up to 120 dB depending on scene) holds detail when bright and dark areas share the frame, and Lightfinder 2.0 keeps color in low light, down to 0.05 lux at 50 IRE on the wide lens. This version has no built-in IR; Axis IR Illuminator Kits are listed as optional accessories.
