The White Indoor Compact shows H.264 video from the intercom on a 4.3-inch colour display with 480 x 272 resolution. It is designed for the residential market, where a small screen near the entrance is enough to see and talk to a visitor.

Audio and Accessibility

A 2 W / 8 Ω speaker and an integrated microphone support G.711a/u, G.722, G.729 and L16/16 kHz audio. An induction loop output rated at 600 mV RMS helps hearing-aid users, and the doorbell input accepts a normally open button or relay contact up to 50 V / 5 mA DC.

Power and Network

Connect a single 10/100BaseT cable (Cat5e or higher) and power the unit with PoE 802.3af, or use a 12 V DC adapter (12 V / 1 A recommended). Reverse polarity protection is included, and consumption is 12 W.

Mounting Options

Per the 2N manual, the unit mounts flush in a 103 mm hole cut 50 mm deep, on a wall with the 2N wall mounting box (which tilts the display by a 12% slope), or in a desk stand. Mounting accessories are sold separately.
