The 2N Clip Ethernet indoor station (02892-001) is a 4-inch-class IP video answering unit with a 4.3-inch colour display, three capacitive buttons and PoE power over a single network cable. It is aimed at mid-range projects and works with 2N IP intercoms; the standard version has no induction loop, for which 2N offers a separate order number.

Mid-Range Video Indoor Station

The 2N Clip Ethernet shows H.264 video on a 4.3-inch colour display with 480 x 272 pixel resolution and is operated with three capacitive buttons. 2N positions it for mid-range projects within the 2N ecosystem, with an installation time of about three minutes.

Audio

An integrated microphone and 2 W / 8 Ω speaker support G.711a/u, G.722, G.729 and L16/16 kHz audio. The induction loop is optional on the Clip range; choose the induction loop order number if you need it.

PoE Power and Network

The unit connects through a 10/100BaseT RJ-45 port (Cat5e or higher recommended) and is powered by PoE IEEE 802.3af Class 0, 48 V DC at 200 mA. The 2N manual gives the PoE draw as 0.44 to 12.95 W.

Mounting

Per the 2N manual, the Clip mounts to a wall on its supplied metal holder (60 mm hole pitch), on a US single-gang box with the optional US holder plate, or in a desk stand. A mounting height of about 135 cm is recommended. The holder, screws and a removable doorbell terminal are in the box.
