2N IP Phone D7A – 7-Inch Android Touchscreen IP Desk Phone

The 2N IP Phone D7A is an Android-based desk phone with a 7-inch touchscreen that lets receptionists see who is at an intercom and open the door with one touch. It registers up to 16 SIP accounts, previews the visitor from the 2N intercom camera, and runs ordinary Android apps for video calling. It is powered over PoE, supports Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and ships with a wired handset and desk stand.

Answer the Door from the Desk

When an IP intercom calls, the D7A shows a preview of the visitor on the 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and opens the door with one touch. Video runs at 720p (1280 x 720) and 30 fps (512 kbps or more) with a 75° (±5°) field of view; H.264 High Profile, H.264 and VP8 are supported. The screen tilts through 48°.

A Full-Featured Business Phone

The phone offers call hold, transfer, forward, waiting, speed dial, hotline, do not disturb, call recording, call park and pickup, voice mail, a 1,000-entry local phonebook with XML/LDAP remote phonebooks, and call history. Audio codecs include Opus, G.722, G.711A/U, G.729, G.726, G.723.1 and iLBC, and the 27 DSS keys can be extended with EXP50 modules.

Connectivity and Security

Interfaces include dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, Wi-Fi on 2.4 and 5 GHz, Bluetooth 4.2 for the optional BTH58 handset or generic headsets, two USB 2.0 ports and two RJ9 ports for handset and headset. Security covers TLS 1.3, SRTP, IEEE 802.1X, OpenVPN and L2TP. Configuration is via web browser, the phone screen or auto provisioning (FTP, TFTP, HTTP, HTTPS).

Power and Installation

One UTP cable can supply communication and power (PoE 802.3af, consuming 2.5 to 7.6 W), or use the optional 5 V / 2 A AC adapter. It is wall-mountable with an optional bracket. 2N notes that the D7A is not covered by the free cloud calling in My2N.
