2N IP Style 10-Inch Touchscreen Video Intercom – Secured Reader

The 2N IP Style secured version (02407-001) is a 10.1-inch touchscreen video intercom whose embedded reader also handles secured 13.56 MHz credentials. Beyond the 5MP wide-angle camera, WDR, Bluetooth access with WaveKey and a 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz RFID reader found on every IP Style, this order number adds MIFARE DESFire, HID SE Seos and iCLASS PACS ID reading. It is rated IP65 and IK08 and installs on the surface or flush with the wall using separate boxes.

Touchscreen Directory and Calls

The 10.1-inch IPS display runs at 1280 x 800 with a 170° viewing angle and an on-screen keypad. Two display modes, office and residential, let you present a name list or a tenant directory of up to 10,000 users. Two microphones and two 4 W speakers handle calls, with echo cancellation and automatic volume. 2N also highlights bi-directional video so people who use sign language can communicate through the door unit.

Camera and Face Zooming

The 5MP wide-angle camera records up to 2560 x 1920 and offers forensic WDR, infrared and multiple simultaneous streams in H.264, H.265, MJPEG and Zipstream. Adaptive Face Zooming detects faces and zooms in, and the 138° by 114° view covers the visitor and their surroundings.

Access Control Options

This secured order number reads 13.56 MHz secured credentials, including MIFARE DESFire EV2/EV3 through 2N PICard technology, HID SE (Seos, iCLASS, MIFARE SE) and PACS ID from iCLASS cards with SIO objects, along with the 125 kHz and standard 13.56 MHz types. Bluetooth 5.0 LE with WaveKey supports touch, tap-in-app, card and motion modes, and the My2N app supports Android 6 and iOS 12 or later.

Installation

The unit weighs 1,950 g and measures 6.693 x 13.976 in with a depth of 1.575 in surface-mounted or 0.866 in flush. Axis product data points to the surface box 02406-001 and the flush box 02405-001. Power is 12 V DC at 4 A or PoE+ 802.3at Class 4 (25.5 W), so a 15 W midspan will not be enough. A mechanical tamper switch is built in.
