Built for the Weather and for Abuse
The housing is ADC12 aluminium with chromate treatment and a powder-coated finish. 2N specifies an IP69 cover rating, IK10 for the body and IK08 for the camera and front panel, and an operating range of -30 °C to +55 °C at 10% to 95% non-condensing humidity. A protective dome over the camera is there to resist shattering.
Clear Audio at a Noisy Door
Two integrated microphones, acoustic echo cancellation and a 10 W / 4 Ω amplifier and speaker deliver up to 94 dB at 1 m. 2N quotes a Speech Transmission Index of 0.89, adaptive volume that follows ambient noise, and automatic audio-loop tests. Codecs include G.711, G.729, G.722 and L16/16 kHz over SIP (UDP, TCP or TLS) with RTP or SRTP.
Identification and QR Access
The camera has a 1.935 mm lens, a 133° by 112° view and a minimum illumination of 0.1 lux without IR. It streams up to 2560 x 1920 at 30 fps in H.264 or H.265 with Zipstream, or 1280 x 960 at 15 fps in MJPEG, and supports ONVIF Profile S and T. Adaptive Face Zooming helps frame the visitor, and QR codes assigned through the My2N App or a management platform can be read for access. An external IP camera can be added (H.264, up to 1280 x 720 at 30 fps).
Door Control, Connectivity and Management
A solid-state relay (30 V, 1 A AC/DC), a 12 V / 0.6 A active switch output and three configurable inputs handle locks and sensors, and a VBus connector accepts Verso 2.0 modules. Settings can be made through the web interface, the My2N Management Platform or 2N Access Commander. This variant includes a keypad for PIN-based entry.
Typical Applications
- Offices, plants and gated sites that use PIN entry
- Industrial and logistics sites
