2N Indoor Surface Box for Answering Units

The 2N Indoor Surface Box is a black wall-mounted housing for a 2N Indoor Compact or Indoor View answering unit, for sites where nothing can be built into the wall. The box goes on the wall surface, the indoor station is fitted into it and fixed with screws. It is a single universal box for both units, finished in black to match the back of the stations, and 2N positions it for retrofit work.

Choose this box when cutting an opening is not an option, such as a finished wall in an existing building. For new construction or walls that can be opened, the flush box (01700-001) places the same answering units in the wall instead.
