The AXIS I7010-VE is a compact, camera-free network audio intercom with a 92 dB speaker, echo cancellation and noise reduction, built into an anti-ligature, IK10-rated stainless steel and zinc casing. Because there is no camera, it suits locations where privacy matters, while IP66/IP69 and NEMA 4X ratings, a -40 °C to 60 °C operating range and a 2-gang form factor let it work indoors and out at entrances, help points and secure facilities.

Clear Audio Without a Camera

The built-in speaker reaches 92 dBSPL at 1 m, and two beamforming microphones with echo cancellation, noise reduction and wind reduction keep both sides of a call intelligible near traffic, machinery or crowds. Full-duplex streaming supports natural conversation, and a line input connects external audio sources. With no image sensor at all, the AXIS I7010-VE is a good choice for restrooms, patient areas, cells or any location where video recording is not permitted.

Built for High-Security and Harsh Environments

The stainless steel and zinc casing is anti-ligature to help prevent self-harm, IK10-rated against impact and IP66/IP69 and NEMA 4X rated against water, dust and high-pressure washdown. It passes ISO 21207 (Method B) corrosion testing and operates from -40 °C to 60 °C in condensing humidity. Replacement face plates and glass kits keep units in service after damage.

Open Integration for Calls and Door Control

SIP support connects the intercom peer to peer or through a SIP/PBX to IP phones and answering units such as the AXIS I5304 Network Answering Unit, and it has been tested with Cisco, Grandstream, Avaya and Asterisk. VAPIX and ACAP integrate it with AXIS Camera Station and partner VMS. The I/O port can be switched to an RS485 reader port for OSDP readers, an integrated entry list stores up to 50 credentials, and the relay or the optional AXIS A9801 Security Relay drives the door lock. It can also be paired with an Axis camera through edge-to-edge technology for visual verification.

Built-In Cybersecurity

Axis Edge Vault provides a secure element (CC EAL 6+), system-on-chip security, Axis device ID, a secure keystore, secure boot and an encrypted filesystem. Signed OS, IEEE 802.1X, MACsec, HTTPS/HSTS, TLS 1.2/1.3 and a host-based firewall protect the device and the network, and the datasheet lists ETSI EN 303 645 and FIPS 140.
