The AXIS I8307-VE is a premium network video intercom with a 4K (8 MP) camera, a customizable 7-inch touch display, two-way audio and an integrated RFID reader with keypad. Visitors can find who they need on screen, see building maps or welcome messages and call reception, while the camera doubles as a fully featured surveillance camera with AXIS Object Analytics, all in an IP66, NEMA 4X and IK08-rated aluminum casing.

Interactive, Customizable Touch Screen

The 7-inch capacitive touch display (800x480) turns the intercom into a visitor guide. You can change the background, customize the buttons, add a welcome message and display building maps or other information so visitors find the right person or entrance. Display events, such as a button being pressed, can trigger actions in the intercom, and the illuminated RFID symbol and audible feedback show users what to do.

4K Video With Forensic WDR

A 1/1.8-inch sensor with 2 µm pixels and a 2.2 mm, F1.8 lens delivers 3840x2160 video across a 150° horizontal and 112° vertical view, with light sensitivity below 0.01 lux. Forensic WDR up to 120 dB handles bright doorways, Axis Zipstream reduces storage, and up to 20 configurable streams allow simultaneous live viewing and recording. The ARTPEC-8 chip runs AXIS Object Analytics and AXIS Scene Metadata to classify people and vehicles.

Integrated RFID Reader and Keypad

Cards, tags, PIN codes and door codes are accepted at the door, with an integrated entry list of up to 50 credentials. The reader supports 13.56 MHz MIFARE Classic, MIFARE Plus Level 1, MIFARE DESFire EV2 and EV3, HID iCLASS, iCLASS SE and HID Seos, plus 125 kHz HID Prox, EM-42xx and ISOProx II, and connects to access control systems over RS485 (OSDP), Wiegand or the VAPIX reader interface. Two relays rated 30 V, 1 A and four I/Os handle locks and other devices.

Open Integration and Strong Cybersecurity

SIP links the intercom peer to peer or through a PBX to IP phones and answering units, and ONVIF Profile G, M, S and T, VAPIX and ACAP let it stream live video into AXIS Camera Station Edge, Pro and partner VMS. Axis Edge Vault stores keys in a secure element certified to CC EAL 6+ and FIPS 140-3 Level 3, with secure boot, signed video and an encrypted filesystem; the datasheet also lists TAA compliance. Tamper detection combines a tamper switch, accelerometer and video tampering alarm.
