2N IP One One-Button Intercom – Black

The 2N IP One in black is a slim one-button video intercom with a Full HD wide-angle camera, built for home and small-building entrances. It has a black aluminum front for modern facades and dark door frames, a backlit button that can be set to any RGB colour, and a body rated IP66 and IK08 against water, dust and vandalism. The camera and audio run from an Axis ARTPEC-7 processor, and the unit needs either a flush installation box or a surface mount box, sold separately.

Camera and Picture Quality

A 1/2.7-inch color CMOS sensor behind a 1.93 mm lens records up to 1920 x 1440 at 30 frames per second, with WDR for bright doorways and infrared for dark ones; minimum illumination is 0.3 lux without IR. Streams use H.264, MJPEG or Zipstream, and ONVIF Profile S support lets the intercom feed a compatible video system. 2N describes Adaptive Face Zooming and motion or noise alerts for residents.

Audio That Carries

One microphone and a 3 W speaker are driven by a 5 W RMS Class D amplifier. Acoustic echo cancellation allows full-duplex calls, and the volume adapts automatically. Codecs include G.711, G.722, G.729 and L16/16 kHz, over RTP, RTSP and SRTP.

Door Control and Integrations

The built-in active output (12 V DC, max 600 mA) can power a door strike directly, and a passive NO switch handles 30 V DC or 20 V AC at 1 A. There is one input and a built-in tamper switch. 2N lists integrations with Control4, Savant, Crestron and RTI for home automation, Axis, Milestone, Genetec and Exacq for video, and Cisco for telephony. Residents can open the door from the My2N app or admit visitors with a QR code.

Installation

The unit measures 78 x 172 x 53 mm (about 3.1 x 6.8 x 2.1 in), sits 10 mm proud of the wall, and weighs 355 g. It mounts flush with the 2N IP One flush installation box (02941-001) or on a wall with the surface mount box (03327-001); Axis product data says one or the other is required. Power can come from a PoE 802.3af port or a 12 V DC supply.
