2N IP Force 13.56 MHz NFC RFID Card Reader with OSDP

The 2N IP Force 13.56 MHz NFC RFID Card Reader with OSDP is an internal module that reads 13.56 MHz cards and NFC phones in a first-generation 2N IP Force intercom and sends the data to the door controller over OSDP. It reads the card serial number, and phones running the My2N app work as credentials. 2N lists this order number as End of Sale.

Module Fitting Notes

• This is an internal module that fits inside the intercom housing, so no separate reader unit is needed on the wall.
• The OSDP link encrypts the data that goes to the door controller, which Wiegand does not.
• The tamper switch on the module signals when the front panel is opened.

Which intercoms does it fit?

2N lists the two-button and pictogram versions of the first-generation IP Force: 01340-001, 01334-001, 01341-001 and 01335-001.

Why OSDP instead of Wiegand?

OSDP encrypts the data sent to the door controller, which makes eavesdropping harder than with Wiegand.

Is this reader still sold?

2N lists it as End of Sale, and Axis product data marks it as discontinued. Axis lists 03357-001 as the replacement for the IP Force 2.0.
