The i-PRO WV-S2536LNA is a 2MP (1080p) vandal-resistant outdoor dome with a 2.9 - 9 mm motorized varifocal lens, built-in IR up to 70 m (230 ft) and an onboard AI engine. Part of the i-PRO S-series (formerly Panasonic), it pairs Super Dynamic WDR up to 144 dB with edge AI analytics and AI sound classification in an IP66, IK10 aluminum housing, for entrances, building perimeters and parking areas.

Clear Video Day and Night

Built-in IR LEDs light the scene up to 70 m (approx. 230 ft) at 30IRE, and the camera reaches 0 lx in black and white with IR on. In color it captures down to 0.009 lx (50IRE, F1.3, 1/30s). Super Dynamic WDR of up to 144 dB keeps faces and plates readable when a doorway or windshield is much brighter than the rest of the scene, and fog compensation, Adaptive Black Stretch and BLC/HLC handle difficult light.

Varifocal Coverage From One Model

The 2.9 - 9 mm motorized lens gives a 3.1x optical zoom with auto focus, from a 113° horizontal view at wide to 36° at tele (16:9). Zoom and focus are set remotely, so one model can cover a wide entrance or a long walkway. Per i-PRO's DORI figures, the camera can identify a person at about 2.5 m (8.3 ft) at wide and 11.8 m (38.8 ft) at tele.

AI Analytics on the Edge

The onboard AI engine runs up to 2 edge AI analytic apps, including AI Video Motion Detection, AI Privacy Guard, AI Face Detection, AI People Detection, AI Vehicle Detection, AI Occupancy Detection and AI Scene Change Detection, and 3rd party applications are also available. AI sound classification detects gunshots, yells, vehicle horns and glass breaking.

Built-In Cybersecurity

A FIPS 140-2 Level 3 compliant secure element (NXP EdgeLock SE050F) protects the device, with a pre-installed GlobalSign device certificate, HTTPS, IEEE 802.1X, brute-force protection, alteration detection and signed firmware.

Rugged, Outdoor-Ready Installation

The aluminum die cast body is rated IP66, Type 4X (UL50E) and NEMA 4X for water and dust, IK10 for impact, and up to 40 m/s (approx. 89 mph) wind. A heater, Temish element and moisture absorption gel guard against condensation from -40 °C to +60 °C (-40 °F to 140 °F). It runs on IEEE 802.3af PoE or 12 V DC, records to a microSD card of up to 512 GB, and supports ONVIF Profile G, S, T and M.
