The AXIS M3215-LVE is an affordable 2 MP outdoor dome with deep learning analytics, built on ARTPEC-8 with a 3.1 mm fixed lens and a 101° horizontal view. Lightfinder, Forensic WDR and OptimizedIR keep images clear in any light, AXIS Object Analytics classifies people and vehicles on the camera, and Axis Edge Vault protects it from cyber threats. Clear Video in Any Light

Lightfinder keeps color in low light (down to 0.14 lux at 50 IRE), and Forensic WDR handles scenes with both bright and dark areas, up to 120 dB depending on the scene. Built-in OptimizedIR uses power-efficient, long-life 850 nm LEDs that reach 30 m (98 ft) or more in complete darkness.

Deep Learning Analytics on the Edge

The ARTPEC-8 chip includes a deep learning processing unit. AXIS Object Analytics detects and classifies humans and vehicles (cars, buses, trucks, bikes) with up to 10 scenarios, including line crossing, object in area, crossline counting, occupancy in area and time in area. AXIS Scene Metadata adds attributes such as vehicle color and clothing color for fast forensic search, and AXIS Image Health Analytics alerts you to blocked, redirected, blurred or underexposed images.

Audio and I/O Connectivity

A 3.5 mm mic/line input lets you add an external microphone, and the camera supports two-way audio via edge-to-edge technology, network speaker pairing and audio detection. One supervised digital input and one digital output connect door contacts, sirens or lights for alarm handling.

Built-In Cybersecurity

Axis Edge Vault protects the camera with a secure element (CC EAL 6+), Axis device ID, signed video, secure boot and an encrypted filesystem. Network security includes IEEE 802.1X, IEEE 802.1AE (MACsec), HTTPS/HSTS and TLS 1.2/1.3.

Easy Outdoor Installation

The bracket fits double-gang, single-gang and 4” octagon junction boxes and mounts on a wall or ceiling, with ½” or ¾” conduit side entry. The camera ships in white with a weathershield and can be converted to black with optional casing and weathershield accessories.
