Clear Video Day and Night
High-power 850 nm IR LEDs light the scene up to 50 m (164 ft) at full telephoto and 25 m (82 ft) at full wide, down to 0 lux in monochrome mode. Without IR, the camera sees down to 0.003 lux in monochrome mode and 0.008 lux in color mode. Wide dynamic range of up to 106 dB (dual exposure) / 136 dB (triple exposure) per IEC 62676 holds detail when bright sky and dark shadows share the frame, and digital defog helps in poor weather.
Adjustable Coverage
The 4.4 - 9.3 mm lens covers a horizontal angle of view of 47° - 111° (16:9), with remote zoom and autofocus, so installers can frame a wide entrance or tighten on a gate without climbing back up. Corridor Mode image rotation, up to 64 privacy zones and electronic image stabilization are built in.
Video and Audio Analytics
Onboard analytics classify people and vehicles (car, pickup truck, large truck, van, bicycle, motorcycle and bus) and detect objects in an area, loitering, beam crossing, direction violations, objects that stop, objects too close, tampering and unusual crowd growth or size, with Teach by Example tuning in Avigilon Unity Video or ACC. Audio analytics detect screams, glass breaks, smoke alarms, dog barks, metal crashes and tire screeches up to 15 m, car alarms up to 30 m, and loud noises and ultrasonic panic alarms up to 40 m.
Built-In Cybersecurity
An onboard FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified TPM (CC EAL6+), Secure Boot and signed, encrypted firmware protect the camera, along with HTTPS, digest and WS authentication, 802.1x port-based authentication and a user access log. FIPS 140-2 Level 1 operation is available with an optional camera license.
Built for Outdoor Installation
The outdoor dome mounts on a surface, in a ceiling with the in-ceiling adapter, or as a pendant with the NPT adapter and wall arm, and pole and corner adapters extend it to poles and building corners. It powers from PoE (802.3af Class 3, -30 °C to +65 °C), or PoE+ (802.3at Class 4) or 12-24 VDC for -50 °C to +65 °C operation. Pan 360°, azimuth 349° and tilt 92° adjustment makes aiming simple.
Typical Applications
- School and campus entrances
- Building perimeters and exterior walls
- Parking areas and drop-off loops
- Loading areas and service yards
- Covered walkways and outdoor common areas
