Its 1/1.8″ sensor with Forensic WDR and Lightfinder handles hard light, a deep learning processing unit runs AXIS Object Analytics and AXIS Image Health Analytics, and Axis Edge Vault guards the device. The IP66/IP67, NEMA 4X and IK08-rated casing installs on one PoE cable for parking lots, perimeters and loading docks where a white camera would stand out.

A 1/1.8″ progressive scan sensor with 2.0 μm pixels delivers color down to 0.18 lux and black-and-white down to 0.04 lux (50 IRE, F2.0), and 0 lux with IR on. Forensic WDR up to 120 dB balances bright and shaded areas, while power-efficient OptimizedIR with 855 nm LEDs covers 20 m (65.6 ft) or more depending on the scene.

The fixed 3.7 mm, F2.0 lens gives a 126° horizontal and 67° vertical view at 3840x2160. Using the AXIS DORI calculation it detects at 72.9 m (239.1 ft), recognizes at 14.6 m (47.9 ft) and identifies at 7.3 m (23.9 ft). Corridor format, digital PTZ with presets and up to 2 cropped view areas add flexibility.

Edge AI Analytics

A CV75 system-on-chip with a deep learning processing unit runs AXIS Object Analytics to classify humans and vehicles (cars, buses, trucks, bikes, other) in up to 10 scenarios, among them line crossing, object in area, crossline counting, occupancy in area and tailgating detection. AXIS Image Health Analytics warns of blocked, redirected, blurred or underexposed images, and AXIS Scene Metadata tags faces, license plates, vehicle color and clothing color for quick searches.

Secure, Fast Installation

Axis Edge Vault, signed OS, secure boot, signed video and an encrypted filesystem protect the camera, with IEEE 802.1X, MACsec and TLS 1.2/1.3 on the network and AXIS OS support until 2035-12-31.
