AXIS F34 Main Unit – 1080p 4-Channel Main Unit for AXIS F Series Sensor Units

The AXIS F34 is a 4-channel main unit for the first-generation AXIS F Series. It is not a complete camera: it needs up to four AXIS F Series sensor units, such as the AXIS F4005 or F1015, which connect over RJ12 cables. It streams 1080p or HDTV 720p video from four closely situated areas through one Ethernet port, supports quad view streaming and Axis Zipstream, and has two SD card slots for local recording. Powered by PoE or 8-28 V DC, it is a cost-effective, highly discreet multi-view solution for small businesses and offices.

How the AXIS F Modular System Works

The AXIS F34 encodes video, connects to the network and powers up to four AXIS F Series sensor units over RJ12 cables. The small sensors go where space is tight, while the main unit is installed out of sight.

Four Views, One Port

Each channel streams 1080p at up to 12.5/15 fps or 720p at up to 25/30 fps (50/60 Hz). Quad view combines the four views into one stream at up to 1080p resolution, which simplifies viewing and recording.

Image Quality and Compression

Wide dynamic range – Dynamic Contrast handles high-contrast scenes, and Axis Zipstream lowers bandwidth and storage use in H.264. Image settings include exposure zones, local contrast, Corridor Format, privacy masks and text overlay.

Storage, Analytics and Integration

Two SD/SDHC/SDXC slots (with encryption support) and NAS recording keep footage local. AXIS Video Motion Detection is included, AXIS Cross Line Detection and AXIS Digital Autotracking are supported, and the F34 supports ONVIF Profile G and Profile S.

No. It is a main unit and needs AXIS F Series sensor units, such as the AXIS F4005, F1005-E, F1015, F1025 or F1035-E, connected over RJ12 cables.
