AXIS W101 Body Worn Camera is a robust and easy-to-use body worn camera featuring the KlickFast mounting system. It delivers clear audio with noise suppression and exceedingly sharp images in every frame.

Axis Zipstream technology lowers bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising video quality.

AXIS W101 offers over 12 hours of battery time at 1080p and charging with any USB-C® charger.

Recording is activated automatically upon unholstering and person down. And the location of the camera is continuously recorded with the built-in GNSS receiver (location tracking). Built-in Bluetooth®, and network technologies provide wireless communication with, for example, the AXIS Body Worn Assistant mobile app.

We can provide you with a new end-to-end Axis solution that includes AXIS Camera Station  VMS  or Axis Insight. Or you can use AXIS W101 Body Worn Camera with a third-party VMS or  EMS , either on-site or in the cloud. Either way, you decide how you want to manage your video evidence – while protecting the value of your existing investments

And a battery life of up to 15 hours at 1080p, charging on-the-go with any USB-C charger, and fast offloading make it ready to go when you are and a snap to put away

AXIS W101 Body Worn Camera features Axis Zipstream technology, so you can store as much footage as you need without compromising video quality – onsite or in the cloud. It comes with an easy-to-use mobile app for viewing and labeling in the field. And evidence is easy to find and retrieve. AXIS W101 Body Worn Camera also lives up to official FBI standards for cybersecurity with end-to-end encryption. Axis Edge Vault protects the Axis device ID and simplifies authorization of Axis devices on the network. Signed video allows video recordings to be traced back to the Axis camera from where it originated, so it’s possible to verify that the footage hasn’t been tampered with after it left the camera. And open standards and cost-efficient docking stations with a separate controller make it easy to add as many cameras as you want anytime

Self-assign

By using self-assign, the camera user assigns and pick up any available body worn camera using an RFID tag. The user simply swipes their ID card or tag and will directly get a camera allocated and configured with the specific user information. When docking the camera, after the work shift, it automatically makes the camera available for the next user. This allows different work shifts to share a pool of cameras streamlining the number of cameras needed while keeping the possibility to have fully personalized user profiles.

With self-assign you get the flexibility to install your system to best meet your specific needs. The docking stations can be placed either in the same room or in different locations, you decide. Independent of how your system is setup the assigned camera will always be where you scan the RFID tag.
