What Is in the Box
The COM-60FC/C includes one PC-2000 power console, one B3-2000 branch box, six BP-2000 belt packs, six headsets, seven EX-50M 50 ft. XLR cables and a carrying case.
How PortaCom Works
The PC-2000 power console plugs into AC power through its AC-20 adapter and sends 22 VDC and both intercom channels to the belt packs over standard 3-pin XLR mic cable. Each BP-2000 belt pack connects to a headset with a 4-pin XLR connector and has headset volume, a call button, A/B channel select and mic on/off.
Expand as You Grow
The PC-2000 has four XLR outputs. To add users, run an XLR cable from a PC-2000 output to a B3-2000 branch box, which adds three more belt pack outputs; chain additional branch boxes for more headsets. Anchor Audio rates the PC-2000 for up to 50 BP-2000 belt packs.
Cabling
PortaCom uses standard 1-pair shielded mic cable with 3-pin XLR connectors. Anchor Audio recommends heavy-duty cable for runs over 250 ft.
