AXIS Q6355-LE PTZ Camera – 2 MP AI-Powered Outdoor PTZ with 31x Zoom and Laser Focus

The AXIS Q6355-LE is a 2 MP (1080p) outdoor PTZ camera for extreme low light, with a light-sensitive 1/2″ sensor, 31x optical zoom, laser focus and quick-zoom. Built on ARTPEC-9 with a deep learning processing unit, it runs AXIS Object Analytics to detect and classify humans, vehicles and vehicle types, while Forensic WDR, Lightfinder 2.0 and OptimizedIR up to 300 m (984 ft) keep video usable day and night. Axis Zipstream with AV1, H.264 and H.265 lowers bandwidth and storage, and the included AXIS TU8003 90 W Connectivity Midspan adds audio and four I/O ports. Need it without the midspan? Extreme Low-Light Performance

The 1/2″ progressive scan sensor, Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR (up to 120 dB depending on scene) hold color and detail in difficult light, with color video down to 0.06 lux at 30 IRE, F1.36. Removable IR-cut and IR-pass filters and OptimizedIR with power-efficient 850 nm LEDs reach 300 m (984 ft) or more depending on the scene, and defogging and electronic image stabilization help on hazy or windy days.

Long-Range Zoom and Fast PTZ

The 6.91–214.64 mm lens gives a 60.6°–2.0° horizontal field of view with 31x optical zoom (372x total). Laser focus finds sharp focus quickly and quick-zoom moves from wide to tele in under a second. Continuous 360° pan at up to 550°/s and +20 to -90° tilt at up to 500°/s, 300 preset positions, guard tours, tour recording, nadir flip and a control queue make it easy to follow fast-moving objects across a large site.

AI-Powered Analytics on the Edge

The ARTPEC-9 deep learning processing unit runs AXIS Object Analytics to detect, classify and count humans and vehicles (cars, buses, trucks, bikes), with line crossing, object in area, time in area, crossline counting and tailgating detection scenarios. AXIS Image Health Analytics warns if the image is blocked, redirected, blurred or underexposed, autotracking 2 follows objects with click-and-track, and AXIS Scene Metadata, AXIS Live Privacy Shield and AXIS Video Motion Detection are included. AXIS License Plate Verifier is supported.

Built-In Cybersecurity

Axis Edge Vault provides a secure element (CC EAL6+, FIPS 140-3 Level 3), system-on-chip security (TEE), Axis device ID, signed video, secure boot and an encrypted filesystem. IEEE 802.1X, IEEE 802.1AE (MACsec), HTTPS/HSTS, TLS v1.2/v1.3 and a host-based firewall protect the network connection.

Rugged Outdoor Installation

The IP66-, IP67-, NEMA 4X- and IK10-rated aluminum casing is NEMA TS 2 rated up to 74 °C (165 °F), runs from -50 °C to 55 °C at full power, starts up as low as -40 °C and withstands sustained winds of 60 m/s (135 mph). The repaintable casing comes with a repaint template and paint paper, and an IP66-rated push-pull network connector keeps the cable entry sealed. Power comes over one cable from the included 90 W midspan.
