The AXIS Q3517-LVE is a vandal-resistant 5 MP outdoor fixed dome for harsh environments, with a weathershield that protects against snow, rain and reflections. Forensic WDR, Lightfinder and OptimizedIR (40 m (130 ft) or more) deliver clear video in any light, and electronic image stabilization keeps video steady under vibration. The IP66/IP67-, IP6K9K-, NEMA 4X- and IK10+-rated casing operates from -50 °C to 60 °C, with redundant PoE and DC power.

Flexible Lens and Remote Setup
The varifocal 4.3–8.6 mm, F1.5 P-Iris lens covers 96°–50° horizontally with remote zoom and focus. A pixel counter, leveling assistant, autorotation, straighten image and traffic wizard make installation fast, and Axis Zipstream in H.264 lowers bandwidth and storage.
Built-In Analytics and Audio
AXIS Motion Guard, AXIS Fence Guard, AXIS Loitering Guard, AXIS Video Motion Detection, active tampering alarm and audio detection are included, with AXIS Perimeter Defender and AXIS Digital Autotracking supported. A mic/line input and line output provide full-duplex two-way audio.
Built for Harsh Outdoor Sites
The IP66-, IP67-, IP6K9K- and NEMA 4X-rated, IK10+ (50 joules) casing has a polycarbonate hard-coated dome, aluminum base and dehumidifying membrane, and ships with a weathershield. It operates from -50 °C to 60 °C (-58 °F to 140 °F) and is tested to railway standard IEC 62236-4.
Easy Installation
The included mounting bracket fits double-gang, single-gang, 4” square and 4” octagon junction boxes for wall or ceiling mounting, with a ¾” (M25) conduit side entry and an Axis U-shape conduit adapter in the box.
