AXIS P7304 4-Channel Video Encoder – HD Analog up to 4K with Audio and I/O

The AXIS P7304 is a full-featured 4-channel video encoder that connects HD analog cameras (HD-TVI, HD-CVI and AHD) as well as standard PAL/NTSC cameras to your IP network. It streams 1080p at 25/30 fps on all channels, can run one channel at Quad HD or 4K, and adds two-way audio, four configurable I/Os and RS485/RS422 PTZ control. Axis Zipstream, PoE or DC power and microSD edge storage make it a practical way to keep higher-resolution analog cameras in service.

HD Analog Cameras up to 4K

Besides standard PAL/NTSC cameras, the P7304 accepts high definition TVI, CVI and analog HD cameras at 1280x720 and 1920x1080, delivering 25/30 fps on all four channels. You can also enable one channel for resolutions above 1080p, at up to 25/30 fps in Quad HD or 15 fps in 4K; when you do, channel 3 is disabled. A quad view combines all four channels at full 1080p resolution at up to 30 fps.

Two-Way Audio and Configurable I/O

Two 3.5 mm mic/line inputs and one line output add two-way audio, and audio detection works with analog and digital AXIS T83 microphones. The 6-pin I/O terminal block provides four configurable inputs and outputs, so door contacts, PIR sensors and relays can trigger recordings, switch on lights or play audio clips through your VMS.

PTZ Control and Analytics

Analog PTZ cameras are controlled over RS485/RS422 or Pelco Coaxitron, with drivers included in the firmware, up to 100 presets per camera, guard tours and joystick support. AXIS Video Motion Detection, AXIS Motion Guard, AXIS Fence Guard and AXIS Loitering Guard are included, and AXIS Camera Application Platform supports third-party applications.

Secure, Simple Installation

One network cable carries video and PoE (Class 3), or you can power the wall-mounted metal casing from 8-28 V DC. Signed OS, secure boot, IEEE 802.1X, MACsec and TLS 1.2/1.3 protect the device. It works with AXIS Camera Station Edge, Pro and 5, partner VMS software and ONVIF Profile G, M, S and T, and records to microSD cards or NAS.
