AXIS P3827-PVE Panoramic Camera – 7 MP 180° Outdoor Multisensor with AI

The AXIS P3827-PVE is a 7 MP outdoor multisensor camera that stitches four sensors into one seamless 180° panoramic stream with 90° vertical coverage and horizon straightening. Built on ARTPEC-8 with a deep learning processing unit (DLPU), it runs AXIS Object Analytics to detect and classify people and vehicle types across the whole view. Forensic WDR and Lightfinder handle difficult light, and the IP66/IP67-, NEMA 4X- and IK10-rated casing suits parking lots, entrances and courtyards.

Wide-Area Coverage in One Stream

Four 1/2.8" sensors behind a fixed 3.3 mm, F2.0 lens are stitched into a 3712x1856 image covering 180° horizontally and 90° vertically, with no stitch in the center. Horizon straightening keeps the panorama visually balanced, and up to 8 individually cropped view areas let operators pull detail views from the single stream. H.264, H.265 and Motion JPEG with Axis Zipstream keep bandwidth and storage down.

Clear Images in Changing Light

Forensic WDR (up to 120 dB, depending on scene) holds detail in high-contrast scenes and Lightfinder keeps color down to 0.15 lux (B/W 0.05 lux) at 50 IRE, F2.0. An automatically removable infrared-cut filter switches to night mode. There is no built-in IR; use it in lit areas or add an external illuminator.

AI Analytics on the Edge

The ARTPEC-8 deep learning processing unit runs AXIS Object Analytics to detect and classify humans and vehicles (cars, buses, trucks, bikes, other), with up to 10 scenarios for line crossing, object in area, time in area, crossline counting and occupancy in area. AXIS Scene Metadata, AXIS Video Motion Detection, active tampering alarm and audio detection are also included, and ACAP supports third-party deep learning apps.

Flexible, Rugged Installation

The aluminum casing with polycarbonate dome is IP66/IP67, NEMA 4X and IK10 rated. The bracket fits double-gang, single-gang, 4" square and 4" octagon junction boxes for wall or ceiling mounting, with ¾" (M25) conduit side entries. Pan ±180°, tilt 0–50° and roll ±5° adjustment, a pixel counter and a level grid speed up aiming. Power is a single PoE Class 4 cable (typical 12 W, max 18 W).
