The AXIS P3818-PVE is a 13 MP outdoor multisensor camera that stitches three 5 MP sensors into one seamless 180° panoramic view with 90° vertical coverage and no blind spots. Forensic WDR and Lightfinder keep detail in mixed and low light, two cameras mount back-to-back on the AXIS T94V01C for a full 360° overview, and the IP66/IP67-, NEMA 4X- and IK10-rated casing is built for parking lots, entrances and courtyards. One camera, one cable and one IP address replace three.

Wide-Area Coverage in One Stream

Three 5 MP sensors behind a fixed 3.2 mm, F2.0 lens are stitched into one 5120x2560 image covering 180° horizontally and 90° vertically. Operators follow people and vehicles across the whole scene in a single view, and the camera automatically balances white balance and exposure across the sensors. H.264, H.265 and Motion JPEG are supported, with Axis Zipstream to cut bandwidth and storage.

Clear Images in Changing Light

Forensic WDR (up to 120 dB, depending on scene) holds detail when bright sky and shaded ground share the frame, and Lightfinder keeps color down to 0.16 lux (B/W 0.05 lux) at F2.0. An automatically removable infrared-cut filter switches the camera to night mode. There is no built-in IR, so pair it with lit areas or an external illuminator.

Analytics and Events

Included applications are AXIS Fence Guard, AXIS Motion Guard, AXIS Loitering Guard, AXIS Video Motion Detection, active tampering alarm and audio detection, with support for third-party apps through AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP). Events can trigger edge recording, notifications, MQTT publish, I/O and audio clip playback.

The bracket fits double-gang, single-gang, 4" square and 4" octagon junction boxes for wall or ceiling mounting, with ¾" (M25) conduit side entries. Pan ±180°, tilt 0–50° and roll ±5° adjustment and a leveling guide speed up aiming; recommended mounting height is 4–15 m. Power is a single PoE Class 4 cable (typical 11 W, max 18 W).
