The AXIS M5074 is an affordable, palm-sized PTZ camera with HDTV 720p video, 5x optical zoom and autofocus for indoor monitoring. At ø130 x 63 mm (ø5.1 x 2.5 in) it blends into shops, offices and lobbies, its built-in microphone enables scream and audio volume detection, and it can reuse installation material from the AXIS M5054.

The varifocal 2.2–11.0 mm lens covers 71°–14° horizontally with 5x optical and 12x digital zoom. Pan ±179° and tilt 90° at 100°/s, 256 preset positions and focus recall let one small camera move between a full overview and close detail, and constant angle focusing keeps the field of view steady as focus changes.

Image Quality and Efficient Streaming

HDTV 720p resolution at up to 50/60 fps, WDR and color down to 0.1 lux at 30 IRE give usable video in mixed indoor light. Axis Zipstream in H.264 and H.265 reduces bandwidth and storage without lowering image quality.

Built-In Audio Analytics

The built-in microphone enables AXIS Scream Detection and audio detection, and AXIS Video Motion Detection, AXIS Removed Object Detection, active tampering alarm and gatekeeper are included. AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP) supports third-party applications.
