AXIS M4228-LVE Dome Camera – 8 MP (4K) Outdoor AI Varifocal Dome with OptimizedIR

The AXIS M4228-LVE is a compact 8 MP (4K) varifocal dome for outdoor or indoor use, with Lightfinder 2.0, Forensic WDR and OptimizedIR for detail in any light. It comes preinstalled with AXIS Object Analytics to detect, classify, track and count humans and vehicles, and AXIS Audio Analytics uses its acoustic sensor to detect screams, shouts, glass break, speech and coughing fits. Axis Edge Vault protects the device, and the IP66-, NEMA 4X- and IK10-rated casing operates from -30 °C to 50 °C (-22 °F to 122 °F).

AI Video and Audio Analytics

AXIS Object Analytics detects, classifies and counts humans and vehicles with scenarios including line crossing, object in area, time in area, occupancy, crossline counting and tailgating detection. AXIS Audio Analytics detects screams, shouts, glass break, speech and coughing fits as well as changes in sound pressure level, and AXIS Image Health Analytics alerts you to a blocked, redirected, blurred or underexposed view.

Rugged and Easy to Install

The IP66-, NEMA 4X- and IK10-rated casing ships with a weathershield and operates from -30 °C to 50 °C (-22 °F to 122 °F). Remote zoom and focus speed up aiming, and the casing can be repainted to blend in.
