AXIS M4218-V Dome Camera – 8 MP (4K) Indoor Varifocal Dome
The AXIS M4218-V is a compact, discreet 8 MP (4K) indoor dome with a varifocal lens and remote zoom and focus. WDR keeps images clear in difficult light, a deep learning processing unit runs AXIS Object Analytics on the edge, and an HDMI output can drive a public-view monitor. Audio and I/O can be added with AXIS T61 Series portcast accessories, and Axis Edge Vault safeguards the device.

Frame the Shot Remotely
The varifocal lens covers 93°–47° horizontally with remote zoom and focus, so installers can set the view from a browser. The camera can be pointed in any direction, including at the wall or ceiling.
Clear Images in Challenging Light
WDR (up to 110 dB depending on scene) holds detail when bright and dark areas share the frame.
Analytics on the Edge
A deep learning processing unit runs AXIS Object Analytics to detect and classify humans and vehicles, with AXIS Live Privacy Shield and AXIS Video Motion Detection included.
HDMI Output and Expandable Audio
