AXIS C1720 Network Display Speaker – Dual-Sided Corridor Speaker with Displays and Strobe

The AXIS C1720 is a corridor network display speaker with two speakers, two 8.8-inch color LCD displays and an RGBW strobe bar, so messages reach people walking from either direction. It delivers up to 99 dB with a very wide 240° horizontal coverage, shows live or scheduled text and strobe alerts, and adds a PIR sensor, full-duplex two-way audio and AXIS Audio Analytics, all over one PoE cable. Mount it on a wall or ceiling with the AXIS TC1604 or TC1605 accessories.

Made for Hallways and Corridors

A single-sided sign only reaches people facing it. The C1720 projects out from the wall or hangs from the ceiling with two displays back to back and two speakers, so staff, students and visitors see and hear the message whichever way they walk. A single line of text can be read from up to 12 m away, and the displays show the date and time when idle.

Attention-Grabbing Alerts

The dynamic RGBW strobe bar draws the eye with predefined light patterns, and its color and pattern can differ per alert type, for example red for lockdown and white for general notices. Combined with up to 99 dB of clear speech, bells or alarms, the C1720 supports critical and everyday communication alike.

Smart Triggers and Two-Way Audio

Event rules can respond to the built-in PIR sensor or to AXIS Audio Analytics detections such as screams, shouts, glass break and speech. Operators can open a full-duplex audio line to talk with people at the scene, and health monitoring with auto speaker tests confirms the device is ready.

Flexible Management

Use AXIS Audio Manager Pro for full control of strobe, display and speakers, or Edge and Center for speaker control with limited strobe and display functions. SIP paging, AXIS Camera Station and partner VMS, and mass notification systems such as Singlewire InformaCast and Alertus are all supported.
