In this first blog of our "Back to Basics" series we seek to introduce some very broad topics of what is to come. In this series we intend to write broadly and only introduce ideas from a 10000 foot vantage point. 

The main topics we will discuss revolve around Affinitechs expertise. We will discuss a variety of hardware and software components in the Surveillance, physical security, digital signage, audio, video and networking integration space. 

Along with the introduction of topics we will provide links to products on our website and links to manufactures pages. 

We hope that this series will provide some basic knowledge of IP cameras, video management software, networking, amplifier selection, surveillance basics, security systems etc.
