2N PICard Commander License

The 2N PICard Commander License activates 2N software that lets a facility or integrator encrypt access credentials on MIFARE DESFire EV2 and EV3 cards with a unique cryptographic key set for each site. The license is bound to the serial number of one compatible external 2N USB reader and is sold as a one-time license per connected reader. It is delivered as an eLicense key.

Where It Fits

• Create a project that generates the encryption and reading keys for a site, then load the reading keys into 2N devices or into 2N Access Commander for distribution.
• Write protected credentials to compatible cards; a card already in use needs its PICC master key known and set to be required.
• 2N lists compatible readers across IP Force, IP Style, IP Verso modules, Access Unit 2.0 and Access Unit M.
