2N IP Solo Audio-Only Intercom – Flush Mount, Nickel

The 2N IP Solo flush-mount audio intercom in nickel is the camera-free version of the compact one-button 2N IP Solo. It suits residential and commercial entrances where video is not needed, and 2N product data positions it for sites where the larger 2N IP Verso without a camera would take too much space. It is the flush-mount, nickel version (order number 02205-001) and carries an IP54 rating.

The 2N IP Solo is a single-button, compact intercom. It is a separate product line from the 2N IP Verso and the 2N IP Force.

Voice Without Video

This version has no camera, so visitors are handled by voice and the door relay. 2N lists the same audio and network platform for the IP Solo family: a built-in microphone, a 2 W / 8 Ω speaker, G.711, G.729, G.722 and L16/16 kHz audio, and SIP 2.0. If you need a view of the door, an external IP camera can be connected.

Calls, Cloud and Home Automation

The IP Solo calls SIP phones and, with the 2N Mobile Video cloud service, smartphones and tablets; free cloud calls are included for single-family homes (up to 4 phones per new installation, per 2N). An open API links it to an existing smart home system, and HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, TFTP, Syslog and 802.1x are supported for network integration.

Door Control and Power

An NC/NO relay (30 V, 1 A AC/DC) and an active switch output (8 to 12 V DC, up to 400 mA) can switch a lock, and a built-in tamper switch detects removal. Power comes from PoE (802.3af, Class 0, 12.95 W) or a 12 V / 2 A DC adapter.

Flush Mounting in Nickel

The flush frame measures 5.118 x 6.024 x 0.197 in (W x H x D) and sits in a wall box; 2N lists a flush mounting box for it. The same intercom is also made in a surface-mount version if you cannot cut into the wall.
