2N IP Solo Wedge Backplate

The 2N IP Solo Wedge Backplate tilts a surface-mounted IP Solo intercom by 25° so the camera covers more of the area in front of the door. It suits two layouts that 2N describes: an intercom on the same wall as the door, and one on a wall at a right angle to the door that also needs to watch the path to the entrance. It can be used indoors or outdoors and tilted left or right.

Choosing the Wedge

Use the wedge when a flat mount would leave the camera looking at a blind spot. 2N states it is only for the surface-mount IP Solo, so flush-mounted units cannot use it. The Solo's hidden camera has a 128° horizontal view, and the wedge shifts where that view points.
