The UltraTech 0E-30WPOEINJ is a single-port Gigabit PoE+ injector that adds up to 30 W of power to an Ethernet run, so an IP camera, access point or other powered device needs only one cable for power and data. It is fully IEEE 802.3af/at compliant, passes 10/100/1000 Mbps data, plugs into any 100-240 VAC outlet through its internal power supply, and is NDAA and TAA compliant. Use it to add a PoE device where the switch has no PoE ports or where there is no outlet near the device.

Power and Data Over One Cable

The injector sits between a non-PoE switch or router and the powered device. Data enters through the DATA IN port and leaves the P+DATA OUT port together with up to 30 W of 54 VDC power on RJ45 pins 1, 2 (V+) and 3, 6 (V-). That is enough for PoE+ devices such as higher-power IP cameras and wireless access points, as well as standard 802.3af PoE devices.

Simple Installation

Plug in the included power cord, connect the DATA IN port to the network with a CAT5 UTP cable, and connect the P+DATA OUT port to the powered device. A steady green LED shows that AC power is present, and a steady red LED shows that the P+DATA port is powering a device. The compact black housing measures 4.76″ x 2″ x 1.4″ (121 x 50 x 36 mm) and weighs 0.66 lb (0.3 kg).

Built-In Protection

Overcurrent, overload, overvoltage and anti-interference protection guard the injector and the connected device. Shielded RJ45 connectors support both EIA 568A and 568B wiring.
