The Tascam CD-400 is a professional rackmount CD player designed for commercial AV, education, corporate, and government installations that demand reliable, multi-format audio playback. Supporting CD, USB, SD, and Bluetooth 4.2 streaming, the CD-400 offers exceptional flexibility while delivering clean, consistent sound through balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs. With RS-232 control, low power consumption, and Tascam’s proven audio engineering, the CD-400 is an ideal audio source for conference rooms, classrooms, houses of worship, and installed sound systems.

- CD/SD/USB and FM/AM tuner realtime audio playback
- Wireless streaming from a Bluetooth-enabled device like a smartphone, tablet, or computer
- Analog audio outputs: XLR Balanced, RCA Unbalanced, and Headphone
- 1/8" audio input for playback from any external source
- "Power on Play" function starts audio playback automatically when powered on
- "Panel Lock" function disables buttons to avoid unauthorized operation or programming
- Real time recording from CD or FM/AM tuner to SD or USB media
- External control via RS-232C
- Control via ethernet with optional IF-E100 ethernet card is planned in the future
