AXIS M3945-R RJ45 3.6 mm – 2 MP Onboard Dome Camera with Audio for Buses
The AXIS M3945-R is a rugged 2 MP onboard dome camera for buses with a built-in microphone and support for audio-in. This version has a 3.6 mm, F2.0 lens with a 83° horizontal field of view and an RJ45 connector. It records up to 60 fps for fast-moving events, uses Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR for difficult light, and runs on a CV75 system-on-chip with a deep learning processing unit (DLPU).

Video and Audio Together
A built-in microphone (which can be disabled, with a physical microphone switch) and support for audio-in let you add audio to video evidence, making it easier to understand what happened during an incident. Audio features include automatic gain control and a 10-band graphic equalizer.
Capture Fast-Moving Events
At 1920x1080 the AXIS M3945-R records up to 50/60 fps without WDR, or 25/30 fps with WDR. Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR (up to 120 dB) deliver color and detail in near darkness and mixed light, and scene profiles (forensic, vivid, traffic overview) help tune the image.
Built for Buses
It complies with ECE R10 rev.06, UN ECE R118 and IEC 60721-3-5 Class 5M6, operates from -30 °C to 55 °C (-22 °F to 131 °F), and is IP66/IP67-, NEMA 4X- and IK10-rated. With the AXIS TP3826-E Housing it can be mounted on the outside of a bus. It shares its form factor, backplate and accessories with other Axis onboard cameras, so it can upgrade existing installations without new holes.

The M3945-R comes with a 2.8 mm (99°) or 3.6 mm (83°) lens and an RJ45 or rugged M12 connector. This version is the RJ45 3.6 mm. Optional M12 IR lenses from 2.4 mm (124°) to 8 mm (37°) let you change the field of view.
Built-In Cybersecurity
Axis Edge Vault provides a secure element (CC EAL 6+, FIPS 140-3 Level 3), secure boot, signed OS, signed video and an encrypted filesystem, with IEEE 802.1X, IEEE 802.1AR and HTTPS/TLS for network security.
