AXIS M3905-R RJ45 3.6 mm – 2 MP Rugged Onboard Dome Camera for Buses

The AXIS M3905-R is a compact, rugged 2 MP dome camera built for indoor surveillance onboard buses. This version has a 3.6 mm, F2.0 lens with a 88° horizontal field of view and an RJ45 connector. Lightfinder and Forensic WDR keep detail in changing light, traffic light mode distinguishes the color of traffic lights in dark scenes, and the IP66/IP67- and IK10-rated casing withstands vibration and a wide temperature range.

Built for Life Onboard

The AXIS M3905-R is made for the shock, vibration and temperature swings of bus service. It is tested to IEC 60721-3-5 Class 5M3 for vibration and shock, operates from -30 °C to 55 °C (-22 °F to 131 °F) with intermittent peaks to 70 °C (158 °F), and carries ECE R10 rev.06 (E approval) and UN ECE R118 approvals. With the AXIS TP3826-E Housing it can also be mounted on the outside of a bus.

Clear Video in Changing Light

Forensic WDR (up to 120 dB depending on scene) holds detail when bright windows and dark aisles share the frame, and Lightfinder keeps color in low light. Scene profiles (forensic, vivid, traffic overview) help set the image for each installation.

The M3905-R comes with a 3.6 mm (88°) or 2.8 mm (107°) lens and an RJ45 or rugged M12 connector. This version is the RJ45 3.6 mm. Optional M12 lenses from 2.1 mm (145°) to 8 mm (39°) let you widen or narrow the view later.
