AXIS M1135-E Mk II 2 MP Outdoor-Ready Box Camera

The AXIS M1135-E Mk II is an outdoor-ready 2 MP (HDTV 1080p) compact box camera with Axis Lightfinder and Forensic WDR for true colors and detail in difficult light. Its CS-mount takes a varifocal 3–10.5 mm lens and accepts other lenses when a scene needs a different view. AXIS Object Analytics runs on the ARTPEC-7 machine learning processing unit to detect and classify humans and vehicles, and Axis Edge Vault protects the device identity. The IP66-, NEMA 4X- and IK10-rated enclosure, with wall mount included, suits building entrances, perimeters and parking areas.

Clear Images in Difficult Light

Axis Lightfinder keeps colors true in low light and Forensic WDR (up to 120 dB depending on scene) holds detail when bright and dark areas share the frame. Minimum illumination is 0.1 lux at 30 IRE in color and 0.02 lux in black and white, and the infrared-cut filter switches automatically between day and night modes.

The 1/2.9″ sensor streams HDTV 1080p (1920x1080) at up to 25/30 fps. The 3–10.5 mm lens covers 90°–33° horizontally, from a room overview to a closer view of a doorway or counter. Digital PTZ and multiple individually configurable streams are supported.

Analytics on the Edge

AXIS Object Analytics comes preinstalled and runs on the ARTPEC-7 machine learning processing unit. It detects and classifies humans and vehicles with up to 10 scenarios (line crossing and object in area), and AXIS Scene Metadata, AXIS Video Motion Detection, AXIS Live Privacy Shield and active tampering alarm are included. MQTT publish and subscribe help connect events to other systems.

Built-In Cybersecurity

Axis Edge Vault provides a secure element (CC EAL 6+), Axis device ID, secure keystore, signed video and secure boot. Signed OS, an Axis Cryptographic Module (FIPS 140-2 level 1), IEEE 802.1X, IEEE 802.1AE (MACsec), HTTPS/HSTS, TLS v1.2/v1.3 and a host-based firewall protect the camera on the network.

The enclosure is rated IP66, NEMA 4X and IK10 and operates from -25 °C to 50 °C (-13 °F to 122 °F), starting up at -20 °C (-4 °F). The AXIS T94Q01A Wall Mount, a Torx T20 screwdriver, a Torx T30 bit and a connector kit come in the box. Power comes from PoE (IEEE 802.3af/802.3at Type 1 Class 3) or 10-28 V DC.
