AXIS XFQ1656 4MP Explosion-Protected Camera with Deep Learning, Class/Division 1 and Zone 1

The AXIS XFQ1656 is a 4 MP explosion-protected camera certified worldwide for Class/Division 1 and Zone 1/21 hazardous locations, with smoke alert and AXIS Object Analytics running on a deep learning processing unit. A 1/1.8″ sensor with Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR delivers 4 MP at up to 60 fps, and preinstalled analytics detect people in restricted areas and support hardhat (PPE) compliance. The electropolished 316L stainless steel housing is IP66/IP67/IP68 rated, operates from -40 °C to 60 °C and offers PoE or AC power with RJ45 and SFP networking for oil and gas, chemical and other hazardous areas.

Axis Edge Vault Cybersecurity

Axis Edge Vault with TPM 2.0 (FIPS 140-2 Level 2), a secure element, Axis device ID, signed video, secure boot and an encrypted filesystem safeguards the device. IEEE 802.1X, IEEE 802.1AE (MACsec), HTTPS/HSTS, TLS v1.2/v1.3 and a host-based firewall protect the network.

Flexible Installation Worldwide

Power the camera by PoE (IEEE 802.3bt Class 6) or 100–240 V AC, and connect over RJ45 or SFP. Two M25x1.5 and two M20x1.5 cable entries, RS485, two supervised and two unsupervised I/O, audio in/out and a 48 V DC auxiliary output are built in, and the box includes the AXIS TQ1903-E Swivel Joint, TQ1924-E Washer Nozzle and (02462-001) TQ1917 adapter.
