AXIS D4100-VE Mk II Network Strobe Siren – Light and Sound in One IP-Based Device

The AXIS D4100-VE Mk II puts a 110 dB siren and a bright RGBA and white strobe into one PoE-powered, IP66-, NEMA 4X- and IK10-rated device. Use it to deter intruders at the perimeter, signal access granted or denied at a boom gate, or show whether an area is safe in an emergency, with custom light patterns, preconfigured sounds and priority-based profiles. It integrates through VAPIX, MQTT and SIP with cameras running perimeter protection or license plate recognition, Axis network speakers and third-party IoT systems.

Deterrence, Safety and Operational Efficiency

Connect the AXIS D4100-VE Mk II to a camera running perimeter protection to warn off intruders, to license plate recognition to signal access granted or denied at a parking gate, or to an Axis network speaker for an extra layer of deterrence. In an emergency, light colors and sounds can show whether an area is safe to be in.

Customizable Light and Sound

Choose from white and RGBA light patterns and preconfigured sounds, or trigger light only where sound would disturb, for example in a hospital ward. Profiles can be given priority levels, so an active profile is overridden when a higher-priority event triggers.

Open Integration

VAPIX, MQTT and SIP give numerous integration options: the siren can be part of a VoIP system peer to peer or through a SIP/PBX server, be tied to third-party IoT systems over MQTT, and work with AXIS Camera Station Edge, AXIS Camera Station Pro, AXIS Camera Station 5 and partner VMS. Portcast technology adds environmental sensing with the optional AXIS D6210 Air Quality Sensor.

Cost-Efficient Installation and Maintenance

One PoE cable powers both the light and the siren, cutting cabling and mounting costs. Configure one device in the web interface and copy the setup to others, and schedule health checks at your preferred frequency so you are notified immediately if something is wrong. An optional TD4801 Sunshield improves visibility outdoors in daylight.

Cybersecurity

Axis Edge Vault with a secure element (CC EAL 6+, FIPS 140-3 Level 3) and TPM (CC EAL4+, FIPS 140-2 Level 2), secure boot and an encrypted filesystem protect the device, and it carries ETSI EN 303 645, BSI IT Security Label and FIPS 140 approvals.
