2N IP Intercom InformaCast License, 01381-001
Description
2N IP Intercom InformaCast License
The 2N IP Intercom InformaCast License (01381-001) unlocks the SingleWire InformaCast protocol on a 2N IP intercom, so the intercom can take part in an InformaCast paging system. It is a software license, not a hardware part: 2N generates the key for the serial number of the specific unit, and the key is then entered in the intercom's web interface. Axis lists it as the 2N IP Intercom and SIP Audio InformaCast license.

How Licensing Works
- Read the serial number of the intercom, then request the key for that number through your supplier.
- Enter the key in the System / License field of the intercom web interface and save.
- 2N states that licenses do not expire and can be combined freely with other 2N feature licenses.
- Because the key is generated for one serial number, order one license for every intercom that needs InformaCast.
- 2N does not offer a trial for InformaCast, so test the paging setup before purchase on the system side.
